At present the government hasn’t issued any new restrictions regarding the operation of small businesses, apart from the Health Protection Advice, when dealing with the general public the Covid virus.

Please note that to protect both staff and customers, it is mandatory that any customers still suffering from Covid, they must wear a face mask or a face shield when attending laundrette.

In the event that the number of customers reduces considerably, then the Laundrette may have to close earlier in the day. If you are in doubt as to whether the Laundrette is open, the website is kept up-to-date with new opening hours.

As from Wednesday the 1st of January, the launderettes opening times will be as follows.

Revised opening times.

Monday: – 8:00 to 17: 00.

Tuesday: – 8:00 to 17:00.

Wednesday: – 8:00 to 17:00.

Thursday: – 8:00 to 17:00.

Friday: – 8:00 to 17:00.

Saturday: – 8:00 to 17:00.

Sunday and bank holidays:- Closed

Due too the physical size of the Laundrette, and the increased number of service washes, customers are requested to collect the washing as soon as possible, as the Laundrette does not have sufficient storage space to store washing longer than 48 hours. If the storage space becomes overloaded with excess washing left longer than the 48 hours, it may need transferring the washing to external storage, and customers will be liable for the extra cost of storage. Any laundry that is left longer than 48 hours and transferred to private storage, and in some instances, washing left longer than 30 days may be passed to charity shops for disposal, customers are requested that they collect their washing as soon as possible.

Due to recent incidents, any verbal or physical harassment directed to any members of staff will be reported to the police. The staff work extremely hard and deserves respect, anybody disrespecting staff will be asked to leave, we are here to help not to be insulted or threatened.

Hopefully as vaccinations for the Covid virus have been carried out, and restrictions are  eased, but recently the Covid threat has re-occurred, we are therefore monitoring the situation to see when services may hath to alter in light of a recurrence of Covid.
